Sharon Lynn Ziegler

Sharon Lynn Ziegler, age 67, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026, at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born January 2, 1959 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Charles William Perkins and Lois Marlene Dickerson Perkins. Sharon was a 1977 graduate of Wellston High School. Throughout the years, Sharon was employed by various local businesses and was always on the go for the next adventure. She loved traveling, especially spending time in Florida and at the beach. In her spare time, Sharon enjoyed camping, line dancing, and being creative, whether it be with her decorating skills or being a good seamstress. She was a very loving, giving and caring person whose carefree and fun personality will be missed by all who knew her. Sharon is survived by her mother, Lois Perkins; sons, Joe Ziegler (Michelle), Jamie Mosley (Tabitha), and Charles Woodruff (Marissa); granddaughters, Kyla Adams (Vinny) and Morgan Ziegler; great-grandson, Rhen Adams; brothers, Patrick Perkins (Becky), Bryan Perkins (Diana), Mike Perkins, and Kelly Perkins (Jodie), along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Charles “Chuck” Perkins, and grandparents, Lowell and Charity Dickerson, and Pansy Koble. In keeping with Sharon’s wishes, cremation followed her passing. A public graveside service will be held Sunday, May 31, at 2 p.m. at the Ridgewood Cemetery in Wellston. Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.
