Shelly L. Channell, age 49, of Chillicothe, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at her residence.  She was born September 29, 1974 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Roger Dean Channell and Rita Joyce McKenzie Channell.  Shelly was a 1992 graduate of Wellston High School.  She is survived by her family, whom she loved spending time with; father, Roger Channell; daughter, Jordan Mitchell; brother, Chip Channell (Suzanne), nieces and nephews, McKenzie Stapleton, Carson Channell, Casey Burchfield, and Carie Dickens; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Channell, and her sister, Kelly Dickens.  In keeping with Shelly's wishes, there will be no services and cremation followed her passing.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
