Sherry E. McClure Zimmerman, age 68, of McArthur, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020, at her residence.  She was born January 3, 1952 in Vinton County, Ohio to the late Kenneth L. McClure and Thelma E. Diehl McClure.  Sherry was a 1969 graduate of Vinton County High School.  She was a caregiver, who retired from the Maple Hills Nursing Facility in McArthur.  Sherry enjoyed watching the birds, and spending time with her grandchildren, who were the joys  of her life.  She attended Mt. Olive Community Church in McArthur.  Sherry is survived by her children, Stephanie Metz of McArthur, Teresa Zimmerman of McArthur, Melissa Landers (Tim) of Marshall, NC, and John Zimmerman (Brittany Scarberry) of McArthur; grandchildren, Jennifer (Audrey), Krystyna, Sarah, Wayne, Leah, John "Bubby", and Layne; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, William Metz; granddaughters, Linda Ellen and Kaitlyn Margaret; and her siblings, Delno McClure, Violet Molihan, Eva Ankrom, Raymond McClure, Kenneth Eugene McClure, and Robert McClure.  Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in the Elk Cemetery in McArthur.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
