Shirley R. Hill, age 91, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at Four Winds Community in Jackson.  She was born November 18, 1928 in Wellston Ohio, the daughter of the late Clem H. Massie and Vadna Lee Massie.  Shirley was a 1946 graduate of Wellston High School.  She was a homemaker who, in years past, enjoyed reading and working outside in her yard.  Shirley's greatest passion in life was the love for her daughter, Amy, and her granddog, Lucy.  She is survived by her daughter, Amy Sparks of Jackson; special niece, Sue Massie of West Carrolton; along with several other nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of special friends.  Besides her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, Edmund and Irene Massie; sister and brother-in-law, Donna Jean and Frank Koehler; and special nephew, Michael Massie.  At Shirley's request, her body will be cremated and burial will be at the convenience of the family in Ridgewood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please give a memorial contribution in Shirley's name to a favorite charity of one's choice.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
