Shirley Ann Mullins, age 73, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, at her home. She was born May 27, 1948 in Vinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Clarence and Garnet (Sizemore) Malone. Shirley was a loving housewife and homemaker and was also a former employee of the Mushroom Plant in Jackson. She loved gardening, canning and was known to be an excellent cook. She was a caring person who also fed many strangers and helped raise several others, besides her own children. Shirley also enjoyed going to yard sales, collecting angels and listening to country music. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Floyd Dean Mullins; children, Tammy Hill (Thomas Hafer), Teresa Phillips, Deidra Mullins and Roxie Mullins; sisters, Violet Smathers and Maggie Perkins; brothers, Leroy, Bill, Roger, Ancel, Donnie and Gene Malone; along with 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Malone, and sister, Betty Brooks. Calling hours will be Tuesday, February 22 nd , from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor Larry Tudor officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Coalton.
