Obituary

Shirley A. Rinehart, age 86, of Ray, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025, at her home.  She was born March 9, 1939 in Jackson County, Ohio to the late Donald Lambert and Anna Mae Spearry Lambert.  Shirley was a loving homemaker who loved being outdoors working in her flowers and watching the hummingbirds.  She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, being around people, and especially spending time with her family.  She attended Log Pile Church of Christ in Christian Union.  Shirley is survived by her children; Carla Waters (Clem Norman) of Ray, Lois Rinehart of Wellston, Barbara Benson (Steve) of Ray, and Terry Rinehart of Byer; grandchildren, Kelly Bowling (Brandon), Chad Rinehart (Liz), Sarah Heiser, Travis Wilson, Anna Zinn (Levi), Stephanie Schrader (Jacob), and Hayley Shephard; siblings, Calvin Lambert of Wellston, Irene Tatman of Bremen, Lynn Orender of Wellston, Richard Lambert of Wellston, and Connie Lambert of Hamden; along with several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis M. Rinehart; daughter-in-law, Angie Rinehart; and siblings, Donna Branscom, Patricia Robinson, Dwight Lambert, Kenneth Lambert, Eugene Lambert, Lawrence Lambert, and infant brother, Donald Frankie Lambert.  Calling hours will be Thursday, August 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Graveside service will follow the calling hours at 1:30 p.m. at Log Pile Cemetery with Rev.
