Sonia I. Gilliland, age 62, of McArthur, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  She was born November 12, 1961 in Chillicothe, daughter of the late Dwayne Edward Patterson and Judith Graves Patterson.  Sonia graduated from Vinton County High School with the class of 1980.  She retired from Austin Powder, where she was employed for 30 years.  She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Brian W. Gilliland; sister, Stephanie Patterson Barney of McArthur; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herb and Gloria Gilliland of McArthur; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Calling hours will be Tuesday, June 11th, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 12th, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev.
