  Stacy L. Camp, age 52, of Radcliff, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026, at his home following a hard-fought battle with glioblastoma. He was born April 19, 1974 in Bowling Green, Ohio, son of the late Richard and Ann Elizabeth (McKenzie) Camp. Stacy graduated from Vinton County High School with the class of 1993. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was a proud veteran who, following his discharge from the military, would meet up with his Marine brothers every year in Las Vegas for the Marine Corps birthday. Stacy was a former employee at Malone Warehouse Tire in Athens where he was employed for 27 years. Most recently, he served as the Safety/Service Director for the City of Wellston until he had to step down due to his health. Stacy was a very caring and giving person who was always willing to help others. He loved his family and friends and always considered his friends to be his family. Stacy always enjoyed traveling, rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes, and going on beach vacations. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wellston, Quartermaster with the V.F.W. Post 9092 in Wellston, and a member of the V.F.W. Post 8402 in Jackson. Stacy is survived by his wife and companion of 32 years, Melissa D. Radcliff Camp; daughters, Madison E. Camp and Allison P. Camp; brother, Richard Camp, Jr.; mother-in-law, Phillis Henry; father-in-law, Robert Gussler, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Tracy Gussler and Kasey Ward (Chad); nieces and nephews, Kaylee Reeves, Austin Ward, Akeelius Ward, and RJ Camp; cousin, Della Billow; special friends, Tommy Shea, Jamie McCown, Steve Hendershott, and Tony Eberts; and Marine brothers, Glen Beesley, Richard Ruffolo, Jim Bierl, and Virgil Lewis. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 26, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 27, at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Father Nic Ventura officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Radcliff Cemetery.
