Movita Sue Cook Davis, age 79, of Wellston, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at her home.  She was born January 5, 1942 in Wellston, Ohio, daughter of the late Lawrence Henry "Sam" Cook and Bessie Bernice Gentry Cook.  Sue was a loving homemaker who enjoyed quilting, crocheting and knitting, and was generous in sharing her crafts with family and friends.  She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard A. Davis; children, Daniel Duane Davis (Elizabeth) of Groveport, Patricia Joyce Belcher (Greg) of Hamden and Nancy Ellen Hartley (Mike) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren, Kyle Belcher, Alyssa Smith, Kristyn Belcher, David Lorge, Cole Hartley and Marissa Hartley; sister, Brenda Long of Wellston; along with several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence William "Bill" Cook.  Calling hours will be Friday, March 19, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor John Pelletier officiating.  Burial will be in the Pattonsville Cemetery.  For those who choose to attend the services, facial coverings are required inside the building along with the practice of social distancing.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
