Jacquelyn Sue Reedy, age 83, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson, Ohio.  She was born March 28, 1939 in Athens, Ohio, daughter of the late Jack William Parfitt and Rachel Louise Bailey Parfitt.  Sue was a 1957 graduate of McArthur High School and retired from the State of Ohio, where she was employed for over 30 years.  Sue always enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her sisters, who were on the road with each other all the time.  She was a member of the Eagles Lodge in McArthur and the Sereno Chapter #128 Order of the Eastern Star in McArthur.  Sue is survived by her children, Chris Reedy of McArthur, Brian Reedy (Terri) of McArthur, Christy Kruger (Dick) of Londonderry, and Susan Schmid (Shannon) of Columbus; brother, Tom Parfitt of Athens; sisters, Julia Ferguson of McArthur, Lee Huntley of New Plymouth, and Lynn Petty (Jeff) of Columbus; along with 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jessica Kruger.  In keeping with Sue's wishes, there will be no calling hours.  Graveside service will be held Sunday, October 30th at 1 p.m. at Elk Cemetery in McArthur with Rev.
