Sylvia Denise "Poochie" Day, age 52, passed away peacefully in her home where she lived with her niece, Jamye Carroll, and husband, Chad, in Waverly, Ohio on Tuesday, August 10, 2021.  She was born March 18, 1969 in Franklin County, Ohio.  Sylvia was a huge fan of both the Cincinnati Reds and The Ohio State Buckeyes, and she enjoyed listening to '80's music.  Sylvia is survived by her children, Jeff LeMay of Lancaster, Heather Metcalfe of Circleville, Brad Day of McArthur and Kyle Dyke of Circleville; brother, Jimmy Day (Maria Coleman) of McArthur; sisters, Belinda Day (Joe Duncan) of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Rhonda Amerine (Junior) of Creola; along with 8 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Etta Fay Day Coleman; brother, Steve Allen Day; and son, Cody LeMay.  Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are by the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
