Theodore Eldon "Teddy" Potts, age 72, of Hamden, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, from his home.  He was born December 8, 1948 in Athens, Ohio, son of the late Theodore E. Potts and Evelyn McNutt Potts.  Ted was a 1967 graduate of The Plains High School and was an ASE Certified auto body technician for over 50 years.  In his spare time, Ted always enjoyed restoring and racing cars.  The angels escorted him to heaven where he will rejoice with many family members, friends and pets.  Ted is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dianna Molihan Potts; son, Jayson (Donna) Potts; daughter, Maria (Doug) Tussing; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; special great-great-grandson, Briar Henson; best friends, Bob and Joy Dowler, Vicky Powell and Mike Sanzi; and his beloved pet, Wolfie.  Special thanks to the Chillicothe Cancer Center and staff, Adena Hospice, hospice nurse Kara, and family friend Radonna Worrix.  In keeping with Ted's wishes, his body was cremated.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hamden Community Building at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwillaims-funeralhome.com.
