Teresa L. Slusher, age 59, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Pavillion of Piketon Nursing Facility.  She was born to Thomas H. Miller and Sandra S. Martin Miller on September 25, 1965 in Gallipolis, Ohio.  Teresa was a 1984 graduate of Eastern High School in Beaver and was a licensed cosmetologist.  She enjoyed making crafts, crocheting, drawing and watching the hummingbirds.  Most of all, she enjoyed the time spent with her family.  Teresa is survived by her mother, Sandy Martin Balzer; son, Joshua Lee Slusher (Lacy Harrison); grandchildren, Joshua Lee, Jr., Alayna, Isabella, Nevaeh, Xander, and Katy; siblings, Pamela Kay Conley (Danny), Anthony Wayne "Tony" Miller, Lisa Gail Looney, and Tina Marie Ratz (Tim), along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Miller, and grandparents, Walter R. "Dick" and Virginia Martin.  Calling hours will be Sunday, March 2nd, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  A Celebration of Life service will follow the calling hours at 4 p.m. with Pastor Mickey Richardson officiating.  Cremation will follow the service, and burial will be at a later date in Ridgewood Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
