Thomas J. Mitchell, age 65, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022, at his home.  He was born December 2, 1956 in Logan, Ohio to Stanley and Bertha Keesee Mitchell.  Tom was a self-employed logger and construction worker who enjoyed hunting and riding motorcycles.  He is survived by his mother, Bertha Mitchell; wife, Rachel Lumpkins Mitchell; children, Mark Morgan, Joy Mitchell, Mike Molihan, Courtney Lumpkins, Michael Lumpkins and Charity Lumpkins; siblings, Jackie Scarberry, Effie Wilbur, Cindy Mitchell, Bill Mitchell, Dee Dee Mitchell and Jennifer Gillum; aunt, Jane Brown; uncle, Jerry Keesee; along with 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Tom was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Mitchell; and twin children, Shawn and Dawn Mitchell.  Calling hours will be Saturday, July 30 ^th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Renovate Life Church of God in McArthur.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 11 a.m. with Pastor James Dimel officiating.  Burial will be in the Mitchell Family Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
