Timothy L. "Tim" O'Bryan, age 65, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio.  He was born August 9, 1956 in Westerville, Ohio, son of the late Rev. John W. O'Bryan and Ruth I. Stewart O'Bryan.  Tim graduated  in 1974 from North Caroline High School in Denton, Maryland.  He retired from JC Penney Warehouse in Columbus and was presently employed at General Mills in Wellston.  Tim, along with his wife, was the former youth pastor at the Lockborne CCCU for 11 years.  He attended the Wellston Church of the Nazarene.  Tim enjoyed hunting, cheering for The Ohio State Buckeyes, and spending time with his grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kathy Ervin O'Bryan; children, Jamy O'Bryan and Wesley O'Bryan (Blissa); grandchildren, Emmi Hope Burns and Leighton Wilson; brother, Jim O'Bryan (Louise); sister, Diana Lyle (Mike); along with several nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenny, Jack and Tony.  Calling hours will be Monday, October 25th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 26th, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Clingan and Pastor Troy Ervin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
