Tina Griffith Thacker, age 57, of Hamden, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020, at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio.  She was born March 9, 1963 in Wellston, Ohio to the late Hershel T. Griffith and Ruby Terry Griffith.  Tina was a 1981 graduate of Vinton County High School.  She always enjoyed baking, crocheting, and taking care of her pets.  Tina loved being around little children and getting visits from her family and friends.  She is survived by her husband, Richard Thacker of Hamden; daughter, Roxie Morris (Kristopher) of Allensville; grandchildren, Zoe, Sophie, Xenophilius and Alice; brothers and sisters, Kenner Griffith of Newport, Kentucky, Linda Lightfoot of Hamden, Bonnie Griffith of Wellston, Shirley Chesser of Mechanicsburg, James Griffith (Kathleen) of Warsaw, Indiana, Donna Ashton (Barry) of Warsaw, Indiana, Michael Griffith of Wabash, Indiana and Patty Blessing (Larry) of Londonderry; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides her parents, Tina was preceded in death by brothers, Anthony Griffith and Danny Griffith.  Calling hours will be Thursday, December 17, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 P.M. with Rev. Jerry Griffith officiating.  Burial will be in the Centerpoint Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.  For those who choose to attend the services, due to the Covid pandemic, facial coverings are required inside the building along with the practice of social distancing at this time.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
